Illustration: Felix Lorioux's Fables De La Fontaine
This post is just the tip of the iceberg... see reason number 3 on our The Top Ten Reasons To Support The A-HAA for links to more great posts about children's book illustrators.

A couple of weeks ago, I posted the illustrations by Felix Lorioux for Le Buffon des Enfants. Here's another jaw-droppingly beautiful book by Lorioux...

I just located a copy of Lorioux's Fairy Tales by Perrault from the mid-1920s. Let me know in the comments if you would like to see scans of that.
If you found this to be useful, see also... Fables De La Fontaine Part One, Felix Lorioux's Le Buffon des Enfants, Rojankovsky's Frog Went A-Courtin', Tibor Gergely's A Day In The Jungle, Gustaf Tenggren's The Little Trapper, Uncle Remus Stories Part One and Part Two, Little Verses Part One, Part Two and The New Golden Song Book Part One, Part Two and Part Three, and Huckleberry Hound Builds A House.

Wonderful scans, just magnificent, thank you very much!! (p.s. your link to the Le Buffon des Enfants post has a typo - it has it in the /2007/ directory instead of /2009/)
Please post more scans from him. This man is amazing.
I would love to see more of this. Please do scan and post more.
