Volunteer: Archive Jam Session

Left to Right: Archive Assistants JoJo Baptista, Alex Vassilev, Danny Young, Michael Woodside and Glenn Han have fun after this Saturday's volunteer day at the Archive.
Volunteering at the ASIFA-Hollywood Animation Archive is a great way to learn about animation and network with other artists. The assistants who work at the archive get a chance to see amazing artwork and study their craft while helping ASIFA-Hollywood build the Animation Database. Volunteers can help out any time during our regular hours (Tuesday - Friday from 1pm to 9pm) and on our volunteer-only day (Saturdays). If you occasionally have a few hours to spare and would like to help out, make an appointment to stop by the Archive for a visit.
In addition to our regular volunteers, we are currently looking for two volunteer interns to help facilitate our digitization program and organize our animation database. Hours are flexible within our normal operating hours with a minimum commitment of three regularly scheduled four hour shifts per week. Basic computer skills needed (Macintosh, Photoshop, FileMaker, etc.) We can train as well. Volunteers may receive school credit for their work.

Great post! Those are some good lookin' dudes!
;-)
If I live overseas can be a volunteer too?I have some computer skills in photoshop.
The problem is that the images we are processing are too big to be sent over the internet. It would be difficult to get the work to you and get it back here again.
But there is a way you can help... The Cartoon Hall of Fame has many empty listings. If you would be able to do some internet research to fill in some of the missing information, that would be greatly appreciated. For more info on that see...

And email me if you have any questions.
Thanks!
