Meta: Over One Million Served

Artzybasheff
A little over an hour ago, our hit logs registered our one millionth unique visit. By next week, our page view count will reach 2.5 million articles served. We started counting traffic on November 11th, 2005, and our traffic more than doubled in our second year. It's poised to do so again this coming year.

So explain the whole "Meta" thing. I don't get it.

"Meta" is an internet term that means "information about the site itself".

    Thanks
    Steve

Hey! all I have to say it's this blog it's amazing, I check it almost daily and find all the stuff in here as an enormous source of inspiration!! I don't know if you could find it interesting but I have posted on my blog some scans of a really old argentine magazine called "Figuritas", it's from 1938 and have some comic strips made by an argentinian animator who worked on the first feature animation full length in 1917. Keep on with ASIFA! Thanks for making this blog!

This is a fun blog to browse. I work full-time as a freelance illustrator/character designer and I get a lot of inspiration out of studying the work of those who have gone on before, especially artists from the 40's and 50's. Keep up the great work!

It's been thought by many that when you stumble upon something great, you just about instantly wish to show people, you want them to see how you see it..see the greatness of things you find amazing and brilliant.

I really think this site is something everyone can enjoy and be apart of. I've never felt so honored to be able to go to this site with so many other great and talented people.

Steve and everyone who has contributed and been apart of this would thing should feel very very proud and nothing less.

May This site, and archive be on this earth for many many years to come!

    Your friend,
    Cory Ag
