Can any of the people in these photographs be identified? On the page for the story department, the man on the right in the photo is most likely Izzy Klein.

This book should be in every animation school in the world. It looks like the ultimate teaching tool.

Also, Steve, I need your help. I've been trying to draw Tom & Jerry lately. As you can see, I still need to work at it. One thing that I think would really help me out is a model sheet. This way I can not only get a better handle on how they're constructed, I can also see what Bill & Joe were trying to convey through the character's designs. (Eyes should be shaped like this. The ears should be in contour with this. Etc.) A model sheet like that from the late '40's would be great. Do you have anything like that kicking around the archive or even posted on the website? If you do, that would help me alot.

Thanking you in advance,

Your pal,

David

Do animation studios even have sculpture departments anymore?
