History: Nat Falk's How To Make Animated Cartoons Part Two

This post is just the tip of the iceberg... see reason number 8 on our The Top Ten Reasons To Support The A-HAA for links to more great info on the history of animation told through the careers of great animators.

Today, we continue with the next chapter from Nat Falk's "How To Make Animated Cartoons". This section is an overview of the seven major cartoon factories of the late thirties. If you missed the first chapter of this rare book, see... Nat Falk's History of Animation.

Wow! These are great, I feel like Im going back in time when I read these. Now does this book only cover the history of animation or does it also go into drawing and cartoon production.

I also just wanted to thank you so much for making the $100,000 animation course. I just finished it recently and throughtout last week posted a before and after and it shows how much it pays off. I'd be very happy if you see much I improved.

Super swell stuff, Steve!

Some of those drawings look VERY FAMILIAR!

Great fodder for those of us who are copying stuff for the Preston Blair lessons.

Add my "Thanks!" to the pile.
