Mike Fontanelli brought by a set of Terrytoons character lobby cards for us to digitize. "It's pretty unusual to find a complete set of eight cards" Mike explained, "because collectors back in the 70s would pull out the Mighty Mouse and Heckle and Jeckyl and trash the rest." Terrytoons are vastly underrated. ASIFA-Hollywood is fortunate to have a complete syndication package of Terrytoons on broadcast quality 3/4 inch masters. We're setting up our video digitization station today, so we can begin the process of capturing them to digital video.
Many thanks to Mike Fontanelli for lending us these great lobby cards to scan...

Wow! These are great! Thanks Mike!
Sorry to be a killjoy, but even a set of six cards is not complete. There is a seventh card, picturing the minor characters Dingbat and Sylvester the Fox. They only had two shorts of their own (apart from Dingbat's debut in the Gandy short DINGBAT LAND). All I can imagine is that at one time, more were planned:

The last two are added. They slipped by when I was composing this post.
See ya
Steve
Ya still missed one!

*Eagerly awaiting Terrytoon cartoons*
I love these cards. Especially Dinky and Little Roquefort, because I've never heard of them. They remind me of Tweety and Tom and Jerry from design alone though. I wonder how close they are in attitude and plot?
Thanks Again Steve,

Thanks for sharing Mike & Steve!!!!!!!:0
Wow, those are fantastic. I have never seen some of these cartoons. I love the one we Oil Can Harry and Pearl Pureheart, it's a beautiful drawing. All of them rocks, in fact.
